The shoes you wear is what highlights your dress, the most important accessory to your outfit. And girls know that from it being either heels or flats

It’s homecoming and girls are preparing for the upcoming homecoming dance this Saturday for our high school. Asking all three lunch shift girls, what type of footwear they will be dancing in.

You will see a total of 199 girls struttin’ around in heels Saturday night.

Only 74 will be dancing in flats, Sophomore Skylar Goetz said “I can’t choose between flats or sneakers.”

“Heels for pictures, flats for dance” is what typically is done because I don’t think any girl has mastered dancing in heels, or walking in them for that matter.

Some girls have to decide of their shoe depending if there date is tall or short.

But there are a handful of girls who are starting a new trend.

Freshman Haylie Petrosky is wearing converse to the dance, and juniors Emily Dorman and Jordan Gaynor are tying their laces for the dance.

Freshman Nichole Deyton is keeping it country with wearing a dress and cowgirl boots.

Whatever you choose to wear this Saturday night, homecoming is sure to be great with any footwear.
